Privacy Policy

Effective 18 October 2026. Plain Rows is made by FatCouple OÜ (Fire in Belly), Estonia.

Short version: Plain Rows collects no data. It reads the Health data you choose only on your iPhone, only when you tap Export, and writes it into files that go only where you send them. Nothing reaches us or anyone else.

Health data

Plain Rows works with the Apple Health app. When you tap Export, it asks iOS for permission to read the data types you picked, then reads them on your iPhone and writes them into CSV files. iOS shows what the app can read and lets you change it at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Plain Rows. Plain Rows never writes to Health.

What stays on your iPhone

The CSV and ZIP files are created in the app's temporary storage, protected by iOS file protection, and deleted at your next export or the next time the app starts. The app remembers your export settings (which types, range, units and file options) so you can run the same export again; it never stores health values.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no network connection of its own. We never receive your health data or any information about how you use the app. Health data is not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with anyone.

Sharing your files

Files leave the app only when you send them with the share sheet or save them with Files. Where they go next is your choice, and that destination's own privacy terms apply. Health data is sensitive: send it only to people and services you trust.

Sample data

The built-in sample data is generated by the app. Using it reads nothing from Health.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
