Any interval, on repeat.

Count down a focus block, a talk or a workout, or count up for stretching and pacing. The tap repeats at your interval until the session ends.

Keeps tapping with the screen off.

Cues are scheduled ahead on the watch, so they keep arriving with your wrist down and your phone away. The running screen shows how far ahead they are booked.

A pattern you can feel.

Eight named patterns, from a single tap to a rising pulse. Test Haptics plays each one, so you pick a cue you will notice before you rely on it.

Three taps to start.

Saved presets start from the watch in three taps or fewer, and a complication starts your last one straight from the watch face.

Explains a weak cue.

Setup checks notification permission and lists every setting that can weaken a tap: Focus, Theater Mode, Water Lock, wrist detection, Low Power Mode and haptic strength.

Private and offline.

No account, no tracking, no analytics, no ads. The app has no networking code, so your presets stay on your devices.

Who it is for

A quiet nudge when your hands and eyes are busy.

Focus sessions and time blindness, interval workouts and stretching, presentations and teaching, breathwork and pacing, and anyone who prefers a tap on the wrist to an alarm in the room.

Questions

Common questions

How do I make my Apple Watch vibrate every 5 minutes?

The built-in Chimes setting (Settings, then Accessibility, then Chimes) repeats only on the hour, every 30 minutes or every 15 minutes, and plays a Birds or Bells sound, as Apple describes here. For any other interval, use an interval timer app. In Haptic Interval Timer, set a cue every 5 minutes, press Start and lower your wrist: the watch taps you every 5 minutes.

Can I just use the built-in Timer app?

The Timer app goes off once. To run it again you tap to start a timer of the same duration each time it ends, as Apple's guide shows. Haptic Interval Timer repeats on its own at your interval until the session ends.

Does it start a workout or fill my Activity rings?

No. It never starts a workout and does not read or write Health data, so your Activity rings and workout history stay as they were.

Is it a HIIT or boxing round timer?

No. It has no work and rest rounds and does not sync with Apple Health. It gives one repeating silent tap at the interval you choose, for as long as the session runs.

What intervals can I set?

Anything from every 5 seconds to every few hours, as a countdown (a focus block, a talk, a workout) or counting up with no end time (stretching, pacing).

Is it silent?

Cue notifications carry no sound, so a cue that arrives with your wrist down is a tap and nothing else. With the app open on screen, watchOS pairs each tap with a short tone unless Silent Mode is on, so turn Silent Mode on before a talk, a meeting or a class.

Does it keep working with the screen off?

Yes. Upcoming cues are scheduled on the watch ahead of time, so they keep arriving with your wrist down and your iPhone away. The running screen shows how far ahead cues are booked.

Can I use it for a presentation or a talk?

Yes. Start a countdown for your slot with a cue every few minutes, for example a 20-minute talk with a tap every 5 minutes, and you know where you are without looking at a clock.

Does it help with ADHD or time blindness?

It gives a regular, silent nudge that time is passing, at the interval you choose. It is a timer, not a treatment.

Do I need an iPhone?

The watch app runs on its own. The iPhone app edits presets on a bigger screen and previews the patterns; the cues themselves play from the watch. It needs watchOS 10 or later.

What does it cost?

One purchase (US$0.99 in the US store). No subscription, no ads, no account.
