Haptic Interval Timer is an Apple Watch app with an iPhone companion, from Fire in Belly (FatCouple OÜ). Your presets stay on your own devices.
Last updated: August 24, 2026
The app has no networking code and does not collect, transmit, or receive information. There are no accounts, sign-in, analytics, advertising, tracking, crash-reporting services, or third-party SDKs.
What stays on your device
The app stores only the settings you create: your saved presets (name, countdown or count-up mode, duration, cue interval, and haptic pattern), which preset you used last so the watch complication can start it, and the state of an interrupted session so it can be restored as paused.
On Apple Watch this is written to a shared app-group container so the complication can read your last-used preset without launching the app. On iPhone it is written to the app's own private storage. Both live inside the app's sandbox, protected by watchOS and iOS file protection.
Between your Watch and your iPhone
If you edit presets in the iPhone companion, they are mirrored to your paired Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. That transfer happens directly between your two paired devices over Apple's own link. It does not pass through any server we operate, and nothing is stored off-device. The Watch app works entirely on its own if you never open the iPhone app.
Notifications
The app asks permission to send notifications on Apple Watch. This permission exists only so the Watch can tap your wrist at each scheduled cue while the screen is asleep. Notifications are scheduled locally on the device. No push server is involved, no push token is registered, and no notification content leaves your Watch.
Permissions we do not request
The app does not request access to Photos, camera, location, contacts, microphone, Bluetooth, health or fitness data, motion data, or app tracking. It does not read or write anything outside its own sandbox.
Disclosure, retention, and deletion
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose app data because we never receive any. There are no advertising partners, data brokers, or analytics vendors involved. Your presets remain until you delete them in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data from that device, subject to the normal behavior of device backups managed by you and Apple. Nothing reaches us, so there is nothing on our side to access, export, retain, or delete.
Children
The app collects no information from anyone, at any age, including children. It contains no user-generated content, no in-app purchases, and no links out of a running session.
Payment
Haptic Interval Timer is a US$0.99 one-time purchase with no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. Apple handles the transaction and payment details. We receive Apple's sales reports, which do not identify individual buyers.
Changes and contact
If a future version changes how the app handles data, this page and the App Store privacy answers will be updated together and the date above will change. Privacy or support questions: [email protected].
