Start and score a game
- Enter a unique name for each player. Use Add player for groups of up to eight.
- Choose 300, 500, or 1,000 points, or adjust the winning target in 50-point steps.
- Tap Start game, then Add round. Enter each player's round score, including a minus sign for negative points.
- Tap a saved round to correct it. Use Table mode for a large, pass-around view of the standings.
- When one player reaches the target, review the score sheet and tap Finish game. The result moves to History.
Common questions
Can I keep playing past the target?
Yes. Reaching the target shows a winner candidate, but the game is not final until you tap Finish game. You can add more rounds first.
Can I fix a scoring mistake?
Tap any round in the score sheet to edit its values. The corrected round is marked with a pencil. The game menu can also undo the latest round after confirmation.
What happens if the lead is tied?
A tied game cannot be finished. Add another round until there is one leader, then finish the game.
Where is my game saved?
Only in protected local storage on your device. The app has no account, cloud service, analytics, or networking code.
How do I share a score sheet?
Open a completed game in History and choose Share text or Share image. The standard iOS share sheet lets you pick the destination.
Can I delete saved results?
Yes. Open a game in History and choose Delete, or use Clear completed games to remove the full completed-game list.
Does the app teach the card game?
The How to score tab explains the scorekeeper's controls and common score-sheet conventions. House rules vary, so agree on card values and when the game ends before you start.
Is there an account or subscription?
No. Rummy 500 Scorekeeper is a US$0.99 one-time purchase with no subscription, in-app purchase, ads, or sign-in.
