Never miss a
Japanese trash day.
Municipal pickup weekdays and sorting rules, in one free app. Built for people who just moved, and for anyone who cannot parse a Japanese PDF calendar.
Free, with ads. Reminders stay free. Not an official city app.
Tonight’s bag, in your language.
What goes out, and by what time, without opening a ward PDF.
Burnable, recyclables, and metal/glass are color-coded.
Type PET bottle, cooking oil, or air conditioner in English, 中文, 한국어, or Tiếng Việt.
Optional night-before and morning-of local alerts. Nothing is sent to a server.
Home Screen and Lock Screen show today’s category.
Pick the new neighborhood first. Rules change at the ward and chome line.
Same app in Japanese and English.
Only cities whose official weekday tables we could verify.
This is not a nationwide calendar. Image-only or PDF-only cities stay out until the weekday table is checkable. Always confirm against the city’s own page.

Does this cover all of Japan?
No. Osaka City, Yokohama City, and nine Tokyo wards only. Other cities are added only after their official weekday table is verified.
Is this an official municipal app?
No. Dates follow official publications. Holiday exceptions and last-minute changes still need the city’s own calendar.
What languages are supported?
日本語, English, Simplified Chinese, 正體中文, 한국어, and Tiếng Việt.
Does it use my location?
Not in this version. You pick the municipality and neighborhood yourself.
Is it free?
Yes. Ads appear on search and the calendar. Core reminders are not paywalled.
Not a substitute for the city calendar.
Gomi Calendar is not published by any municipality. Pickup days come from official weekday tables we could verify. Temporary changes and building-specific exceptions can be missing. Check the city’s page before you put a bag out.
